This was a family mini session; however, glancing through the files these four jumped out at me, so family photos will have to wait for your gallery. Enjoy your beautiful children - taken when they paused for a moment to take in a wonderful day.
Oh and the backlight in this next shot just makes me so happy! I led people to this rock all day for various reasons, but they got there on their own and this quiet moment in the midst of lots of running and sibling banter just seemed so perfect with this patch of light coming through the trees.
Can't you totally imagine that they are teenagers (instead of elementary school kids) just stealing a moment to do a little sibling catch up.....
or maybe it would be more like this.....
Who knows?! Part of the fun of being a parent is that you get to be there to watch and also that you don't have to choose between a quiet moment on a rock and an ambush in the leaves.
