Welcome december!
Ben has been watching with great anticipation the amount of snow on the ground.
"I think that there is almost enough snow to go sledding....When do you think that there will be enough snow to go sledding? If it keeps snowing for two more days, there will be enough snow to go sledding...."
So you can imagine that yesterday after school Ben really wanted to play in the snow. I needed to shovel anyway, so I got Nora dressed and we headed out. I only took the point and shoot because I needed to shovel and pick nora up after she fell every ten seconds (she is not so good at getting up with her boots on yet) We ended up out for about an hour and I managed to get the shoveling done (a big surprise to me)....here are a few snaps.
Ben helping shovel - he is actually a good helper - though a bit random in what areas he thinks need to be shoveled.
Nora helps too, but this snow was too heavy for her to move far - and she doesn't have very good control of her hands in gloves.
Ben's snow angel - really more of a snow stick person as he didn't want to move his arms to make wings.
Nora hamming it up on the porch whlie I did the neverending sidewalk (who wanted this house on teh corner anyway!) She sat there and said "hi' to anyone who passed and at a slew of people who got off the bus right outside our house. She got lots os smiles.
